This is an exciting and motivating new role to work as a salaried GP with a practice run by Haringey GP Federation. The role will involve between 6 to 8 sessions per week. You will provide general medical services for our patients, delivering safe, caring, and high-standard medical care. You will participate in the day-to-day activities of the practice, including surgeries, administration, and occasional home visits where appropriate.
You will be involved in practice development, identifying service changes and developments in line with local clinical needs, and working with the team to achieve clinical targets. You will be supported in training and development to maintain and improve your competencies. The Federation values training and development, and you will be invited to Federation educational events. We seek a person who will help the Clinical Leadership Teams develop and transform the practice, ensuring patient-centered and innovative care. We aim to become a Learning Environment for GP registrars/FY2s, and you will support trainers with this cohort. We also wish to incorporate this role with a position in one of the Federation's services, which focus on reducing health inequalities in Haringey.

To provide high-quality medical services to patients registered with a Federation Practice, in line with the NHS contract, including the quality and outcomes framework and any local or enhanced services.
To prescribe appropriately, providing clinical rationale with support from the Medicines Management Team.
To respond to health problems presented by patients, including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral, ensuring management aligns with national guidelines and pathways.
To promote health and preventative care, providing advice that enables self-management and informed choices.
To interpret test requests and results, taking appropriate action based on findings.
To carry out administrative duties such as referrals, record maintenance, and managing registers, as needed by the practice.
