DHU Healthcare invites applications for a Salaried GP at the Corby Urgent Treatment Centre. The role covers urgent care with a focus on safe, high-quality care and integration with NHS pathways. Salaried positions are available full-time and part-time with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Completion of GP training or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working in general practice, urgent care, out of hours, emergency medicine or other unscheduled care settings.
• Experience of assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations safely.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with urgent undifferentiated illness and minor injury in UTC scope.
• Undertake clinical history taking, physical examination and evidence-based decision making.
• Request, interpret and act on investigations and tests available within UTC.
• Maintain GMC registration and Performers List status.
• Engage in appraisal, revalidation and mandatory training.

Salary:£114,075-£126,165 depending on experience + weekend enhancements.

Hours: Full time / Part time,weekend only

Job Overview

As a Salaried GP you will:

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with urgent undifferentiated illness and minor injury presentations in line with UTC scope, competence and local pathways.
• Undertake clinical history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making using evidence based practice.
• Request, interpret and act on appropriate investigations available within the UTC setting, including point of care tests, ECGs and imaging where available and authorised.
• Maintain full GMC registration, licence to practise and inclusion on the Performers List.
• Maintain appraisal, revalidation, mandatory training and professional development requirements.
