Job summary

George Clare Surgery is seeking a salaried GP to join a two-partner, part-dispensing training practice. The role involves patient consultations by phone, face-to-face or video, with occasional home visits, plus a share of practice administration and support for GP registrar training.

Applicants must be on the GMC register as a GP and will work with 15-minute appointment slots, half-day triage, SystmOne, and a laptop for remote working, with scope to develop a specialist interest.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC registered as a GP.
• Experience of working in primary care.

Responsibilities

• Telephone, face-to-face and video appointments with patients, including occasional home visits.
• Share of administration related to the patient list, including letters, tasks, and prescription queries.
• Maintain a patient list and complete associated administrative duties.
• Triage patients using the PATCHS system.
• Work in 15-minute appointment slots and half-day triage sessions.
• Support the training and debriefing of GP registrars.
• Develop specialist interests aligned with practice needs.
