Job summary

Ariel Healthcare in Chard is recruiting an additional salaried GP to join its patient‑focused practice team, offering continuity of care for registered patients. The role involves 4-6 sessions per week under the BMA model contract, with a fixed Urgent Care Hub session split across two sites and capped patient lists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective medical care to the registered population, focusing on continuity of care and patient choice.
• Work with GP and wider team to deliver quality care and protect patients' interests.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Make timely referrals to specialist services.
• Cover one set duty session per week in the Urgent Care Hub.
• Plan and deliver continuous improvement activities.
• Liaise with staff to promote collaboration and an inclusive culture.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.

• Liaise regularly with all staff, encouraging collaborative working and a safe, inclusive culture
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures
