Job description

A well-established, CQC-rated GP training surgery in Barnstaple is looking to hire a Salaried GP for 6 sessions on a permanent basis, which may be split across 2 sites.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to set their own clinic times, with the practice supporting flexible scheduling. The surgery seeks a talented and committed General Practitioner capable of providing excellent holistic clinical care tailored to patient needs. As a senior clinician, the post holder is expected to work alongside the lead GP to develop a leadership role within the practice.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Working autonomously
• Delivering holistic care at an advanced clinical level using expert knowledge and skills
• Handling administrative tasks associated with general practice
• Making onward referrals when appropriate
• Conducting home visits as needed
• Performing telephone triage, video, and telephone consultations
