Job summary

Qualifications

• MRCGP qualified and registered in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding the differences between partner and salaried GP roles.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Willing to accommodate sessional requirements and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of general medical services, including face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Manage a varied clinical caseload across all age groups.
• Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate.
• Prescribe safely and in line with guidelines.
• Refer patients to secondary care and other services as required; participate in duty doctor duties.
• Maintain accurate records using EMIS Web.
• Participate in safeguarding processes for children and vulnerable adults.
