Job summary

Bloxham & Hook Norton Surgery in the United Kingdom is seeking a salaried GP for a six-session role split between the main site and its branch. The post covers daily patient consultations, face-to-face or phone, with no total triage.

The practice serves around 8,100 rural patients and has a nursing team on both sites, with open morning sessions and pre-booked afternoons. The post runs from July 2027 to cover a senior partner's reduced sessions, and newly qualified GPs will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face and telephone consultations with patients, according to the patient's chosen option
• Open morning sessions (15 slots) and pre-booked afternoon appointments (12 slots)
• Working across the main site and the branch surgery about 5 miles away
• Weekly clinic session for registered clients of the private nursing home at the end of the driveway
• Working alongside the nurses, healthcare assistants and phlebotomist supporting GPs on both sites
