Job summary

Hamilton Barnes seeks a SailPoint Architect for a 6-month contract with hybrid work in West London. You will own the end-to-end SailPoint platform architecture (IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud/IdentityNow) across the enterprise and provide hands-on technical leadership to engineering teams.

The role demands extensive IAM expertise, including lifecycle management, RBAC, provisioning and integration with HR systems, plus strong stakeholder communication and leadership across project

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience architecting SailPoint solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong IAM knowledge: lifecycle management, RBAC, provisioning, access governance.
• Experience designing connectors and integrations using Java, BeanShell, REST/SCIM APIs.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience integrating IGA with HR systems and enterprise apps.
• Understanding of SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001 and ITGC.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate architecture decisions.
• Experience leading technical teams through full project lifecycles.
• SailPoint certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of SailPoint platform across the enterprise.
• Define technical designs and integration patterns for identity governance.
• Lead identity lifecycle processes including joiner/mover/leaver automation.
• Architect connector integrations with AD, LDAP, Entra ID, HR systems and cloud platforms.
• Design RBAC models, access workflows and certification campaigns.
• Define SoD policies and access controls.
• Provide technical leadership to SailPoint developers and engineers.
• Lead workshops with security, risk, audit and application teams.
• Establish best practices for performance, scalability, upgrades and support.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience architecting and delivering SailPoint solutions (IdentityIQ and/or ISC/IdentityNow) in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, provisioning, access certification and governance
• Proven experience designing and building connectors, workflows, rules and custom integrations using Java, BeanShell, REST/SCIM APIs
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience integrating IGA platforms with HR systems and enterprise applications
• Understanding of regulatory and security frameworks including SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001 and ITGC
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience leading technical teams through full project lifecycles
• SailPoint certifications such as Certified IdentityIQ Architect/Engineer or ISC Professional are highly advantageous

• Lead the design of identity lifecycle processes, including joiner/mover/leaver automation, provisioning and deprovisioning
• Architect connector integrations with enterprise applications, directories (AD, LDAP, Entra ID), HR systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and cloud platforms
• Design role models, RBAC frameworks, access request workflows and certification campaigns
• Define Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and compliance-driven access controls
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to our SailPoint developers and engineers throughout delivery
• Lead workshops with security, risk, audit and application teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable designs
• Establish best practices for platform performance, scalability, upgrades and operational support

We are looking for a SailPoint Architect for a 6-month contract, inside IR35, with a hybrid working arrangement in West London. We will rely on you to lead the design and delivery of enterprise identity governance solutions within a complex, large‑scale environment, owning the technical architecture of our SailPoint platform and providing hands‑on technical leadership to our engineering teams.
