Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by a leader in the Transport Industry who are looking to recruit a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Business Partner (Transport). This position plays a crucial role in the organisations efforts to control and reduce collisions, incidents, and near misses. This role promotes a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across the organisation whilst contributing to upholding the highest standards of workplace transport safety.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Business Partner (Transport) will include:

  • Act as the competent advice in matters of Transport Safety to support compliance and achieve a positive culture.
  • Visiting sites to conduct audits and inspections, and answer any health, safety, and environmental related queries.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are reviewed and updated, completing accident investigations as required.
  • Handle all matters related to Health and Safety and Transport Safety initiatives promptly, professionally, and in a manner that best serves the interests of the organisation.

The successful Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Business Partner (Transport) will have:

  • Proven health, safety and environmental experience within transport, heavy industrial environments, logistics or facilities management industries.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential) and relevant membership of IOSH.
  • Class 2 license (desirable).
  • Proven experience implementing ISO-Management Systems.
