Job description

Key job responsibilities
  1. Carry out risk assessments and audits
  2. Monitor the site to ensure processes align with Amazon’s safety procedures
  3. Create and update reports on safety metrics for review by colleagues
  4. Collaborate with colleagues in Operations and across the business on safety-related tasks and provide guidance on processes
  5. Support the implementation of new safety measures
A day in the life

You’ll be based at one of our sites, enabling you to closely monitor activities and be accessible for questions during shifts. The role focuses on identifying potential issues before they occur by inspecting the site and understanding equipment usage. You’ll be involved in implementing safety changes and supporting the Operations team with ad-hoc safety tasks.

Safety data collection and sharing are vital parts of your role, helping keep our processes safe and proactive. You will work with different teams to prioritize safety across the business.

About the team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) manages last mile delivery in partnership with third-party providers. We focus on operational efficiency and innovative delivery solutions, including Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants. Our teams work around the clock, with a focus on supporting our people and improving customer experience while reducing our environmental impact through initiatives like electric vehicles.

Minimum qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in a safety-related field or NEBOSH Certificate
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced proficiency in English (C1 CEFR level)
Preferred qualifications

Preferred qualifications are not mandatory but are desirable:

  • Experience communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, either in writing or through presentations
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team
