Airbus Protect Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a Safety-focused engineer to support ATA28 (Fuel) and ATA32 (Landing Gear) development. You will coordinate with suppliers, conduct safety analyses, and act as the Safety focal point for Functional Safety activities across Airbus systems.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure requirements cascade and successful V&V. The role emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and delivering complex projects with a strong safety mindset.

Formación

• University degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Aeronautical engineering, especially Safety and Reliability.
• Knowledge of Safety processes, regulations and guidelines (CS/AC 25.1309, ARP 4761, ARP 4754A).
• Good knowledge of Aircraft Systems.
• Experience managing requirements, using DOORS is desirable.
• Experience in Fuel and/or Landing Gear perimeter is beneficial.
• Track record delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Awareness of compliance risks and act with integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Support development activities for ATA28 (Fuel) and ATA32 (Landing Gear) systems and interfaces.
• Coordinate with suppliers and flight tests; interface with Systems, Structures, Certification and Procurement.
• Act as Safety focal point for Functional Safety activities and perform FHA, pSSA, SSA, PRA analyses.
• Define SoW tasks, plan resources and ensure requirement traceability through V&V.
