Job summary

SSE is launching a two-year graduate programme housed in the UK, with a base location in Glasgow or Perth. You’ll rotate across network, operations and safety teams, learn risk management and safe systems of work, and complete technical training to progress into an Operational Safety Advisor role.

We’re seeking graduates with at least a 2:2 in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering, who are eager to develop specialist operational safety expertise, communicate clearly, and apply

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 honours degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop specialist operational safety expertise across our network.
• Support safe operation of the electricity transmission network.
• Learn incident investigation and network safety training and apply it to real-world scenarios.
