Job summary

SSE offers a two-year graduate programme based in Glasgow or Perth. You will gain hands-on exposure across network, operational and safety teams and learn how risk is managed and safe systems of work are maintained for the transmission network.

During the programme you complete technical training such as incident investigation and network safety training, positioning you to progress into an Operational Safety Advisor role with trusted safety guidance across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering.
• Graduate with a keen interest in operational safety and risk management.
• Motivated to develop specialist operational safety knowledge and learn from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across our network, operational and safety teams.
