As the Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator you will ensure that employees comply with Safety, Health and Environmental Legislation and ensure policies and procedure are adopted and adhered to. This role will drive continuous improvement and will help develop a cultural change in the mindset of all employees while ensuring a pragmatic approach to support the business needs.
The successful Safety, Health and Environment Coordinator will be responsible for providing a support function to the Department. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and commitment and be able to work within a high-pressure environment to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and organisation skills are pre-requisite.
Role responsibilities:
Delivery and management of new starter inductions.
Conducting regular department workplace Safety, Health and Environment inspections supporting the campus, reporting on findings and ensuring corrective actions are appropriately closed out
Monitoring the completion of display screen equipment and associated assessments, ensuring suitable follow up actions are completed.
Supporting and monitoring our Occupational Health surveillance schedules.
Incident management, including information gathering and close out in a timely manner.
Requirements for the role:
Experience in a similar role, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with safety management software.
A NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent) is essential.
Experience in F1, Motorsport, or the Automotive industry is beneficial, but not essential.
Understanding of and experience with ISO standards (development, implementation, auditing) would be an advantage.
