Job Description:

What you’ll be responsible for: The Safety, Health & Environment team, along with the Engineering team, provide critical support to the manufacturing and packing operations at our snack factory in Hayes.

A safe and enjoyable working environment and reliable equipment are essential to making the Hayes Snack Factory a fantastic place to work for all employees.

This role will support the site’s safety program to achieve our target of zero harm within our workforce and to improve the reliability of our assets to produce and deliver high-quality snacks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting safety and environmental data reporting
  • Reviewing energy and waste trends across the site
  • Performing safety inspections
  • Facilitating audits, gap analysis, and action closures
  • Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Rolling out SHE and basic condition training
  • Managing document control for SHE and engineering
  • Tracking purchase orders and goods receiving
  • Asset inventory and compliance system administration

  • Strong numerical and literacy skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work across departments and independently
