MSA - The Safety Company is seeking a motivated field-based technician to join our safety-focused team in Horsham, UK. You will install, test and maintain height safety equipment at client sites, ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements and documentation standards.

The role emphasizes on-site safety, quality paperwork, and the ability to identify additional fall protection needs. IPAF and PASMA training can be provided during employment.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license and clean DBS/Disclosure clearance are required.
• Comfortable working at height and able to perform site-based tasks.
• Previous mobile/site-based role is preferred.
• IPAF training is optional but beneficial to start with.
• PASMA training is optional but beneficial to start with.

Responsabilités

• Carry out site-based installations and maintenance of height safety equipment.
• Prepare detailed paperwork for client certificates or quotations as required.
• Identify additional fall protection equipment or training needs at sites.
• Support Team Leader and management to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities

What you will do – the role:

• Ensuring the highest levels of site safety and customer service are adhered to all times whilst carrying out site-based installations as well as testing and maintenance of site-based height safety equipment in accordance with manufacturers requirements and drawings provided.
• Ensuring that detailed legible paperwork is provided upon the completion of a new installations, to allow the full manuals to be produced for the Client (produced by others). When carrying our inspections, the paperwork needs to detail the findings of the inspection to allow either the client certificates to be produced (By Others) or remedial Quotation can be provided for any failures (By Others). This paperwork can be provided by either hard copy paperwork, laptop or tablet (Provided by HCL)
• Identifying any additional requirements for fall protection equipment or training at sites where activities are undertaken.
• Other duties as required by the Team Leader or senior management to assist in the efficient running of the business and contribute to the company’s profit objectives.

Qualifications

What you need:

• Clean driver’s License
• Ability to clear DBS/CRB/Scottish Disclosure
• Comfortable working at height
• Previous experience of a mobile, site-based role would be preferred
• IPAF training (Not essential as can be attained during employment)
• PASMA training (Not essential as can be attained during employment)
