Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking a site-based installer/technician to perform height-safety equipment installations, testing and maintenance at client sites. You will ensure safety paperwork is completed to enable client certificates or quotations for remedial works.

Key requirements include a clean driving licence, ability to clear DBS/CRB, and comfort working at height. IPAF/PASMA training are advantageous and can be obtained during employment. Join a team focused on safety and service.

Responsibilities

What you will do – the role:

• Ensuring the highest levels of site safety and customer service are adhered to all times whilst carrying out site-based installations as well as testing and maintenance of site-based height safety equipment in accordance with manufacturers requirements and drawings provided.
• Ensuring that detailed legible paperwork is provided upon the completion of a new installations, to allow the full manuals to be produced for the Client (produced by others). When carrying our inspections, the paperwork needs to detail the findings of the inspection to allow either the client certificates to be produced (By Others) or remedial Quotation can be provided for any failures (By Others). This paperwork can be provided by either hard copy paperwork, laptop or tablet (Provided by HCL)
• Identifying any additional requirements for fall protection equipment or training at sites where activities are undertaken.
• Other duties as required by the Team Leader or senior management to assist in the efficient running of the business and contribute to the company’s profit objectives.
