Job summary

Druck in Groby, Leicestershire, is seeking a Safety-Critical Embedded Software Test Engineer to verify airborne pressure sensor software on-site at our HQ. The fixed-term role (one year, with extension potential) focuses on DO-178C Level A processes, verification plans, and evidence generation.

You will develop Python automation, implement test cases, and maintain traceability across requirements, design, tests and results while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the V-life

Qualifications

• Experience verifying safety-critical or high-integrity embedded software on target hardware.
• Knowledge of DO-178C or a comparable safety lifecycle with traceability.
• Python automation and embedded C/C++ debugging experience.
• Ability to produce controlled test plans, procedures, and traceability evidence.
• Understanding of MC/DC coverage, boundary tests and fault injection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain verification plans, procedures, test cases, scripts and coverage matrices.
• Derive boundary, robustness, and timing tests from requirements.
• Maintain bidirectional requirements – design – tests traceability.
• Perform target-based and integration testing including hardware/software.
• Support tool qualification and DO-330/ED-215 compliance.
• Create documentation and evidence for audits and approvals.
