To work as a member of the Integrated Safeguarding Team within the Trust, The focus on the work will be to provide Specialist advisory, supportive and educative services to staff across the Trust with a focus upon Safeguarding Adults.
The post holder will contribute to the Safeguarding Adult's work within the health and social care community in order to facilitate multi-professional interagency working and training in respect of Safeguarding Adults and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
The post holder will work with the Professional Lead for Safeguarding Adults to ensure that there are robust internal policies and guidance and will act as a focal point for the dissemination of information in relation to policy, procedures and training. They will assist the Professional Lead for Safeguarding Adults to develop professional standards and promote best practice and will provide accessible, accurate and relevant information and support to staff within the Trust regarding safeguarding adults activities.
They will act as a point of contact in order to provide advice and specialist knowledge to organisations and practitioners across the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Communities relating to Safeguarding Adults activities.
