Job summary

Redhill Academy Trust is seeking a part-time Safeguarding Officer at Hall Park Academy to support the safeguarding service day to day and help keep pupils safe. You will work as part of the safeguarding team, providing advice, guidance and early intervention, and you will handle sensitive information with discretion.

This role requires strong communication, organisation and record-keeping, with duties including collaboration with staff, families and external agencies and supporting our Deputy

• Experience in safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Ability to work with students, families, staff and external agencies.
• Discretion handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support the safeguarding service on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide source of advice and expertise to promote safeguarding to students and staff.
• Assist in DBS and safeguarding process as required.

As a Safeguarding Officer you will be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, working as part of the safeguarding team, supporting the effective operation of the safeguarding service on a day-to-day basis. They will act as a source of support, advice and expertise to promote safeguarding to students and staff in the academy.
