Job summary

The Bolsover School, part of Redhill Academy Trust, is seeking a Safeguarding Officer to join the safeguarding team and protect the wellbeing of every student across the academy. The role involves acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, supporting daily safeguarding services and providing guidance to students, staff and families.

Redhill Academy Trust pay scale Band 8 Scale points 36 - 40

Actual salary: £25,148 - £27,268 per annum (FTE: £28,305 - £30,692)

37 hours per week - Full time, Permanent, Term time plus 2 weeks

Your role...

As a Safeguarding Officer you’ll: Be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, working as part of the safeguarding team, supporting the effective operation of the safeguarding service on a day to-day basis. They will act as a source of support, advice and expertise to promote safeguarding to students and staff in the academy.
