Job summary

Responsibilities

• Policy and service development: Support implementation of policy and/or service developments related to the safeguarding team.
• Support team to ensure compliance with relevant ICB policies.
• Completes surveys or evaluations to support project delivery.
• Strategy and analysis: Helps develop reports relating to safeguarding drawing on data that can inform decision making and delivery.
• Planning and organisation: Support development and delivery of project plans relating to safeguarding, helping develop effective arrangements to support governance, risk management, escalations and reporting.
• Support coordination of meetings and events to support delivery of project plans; capturing effective minutes, actions and decisions from meetings and events.
• Manage competing priorities, prioritizing resources to deliver agreed tasks or projects; ensure accurate reporting and records management.
• Communications and partnerships: Build strong, trust-based relationships across the team and ICB; work in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects and manage sensitive information.
• Financial and resource management: Supports administration for the procurement of services; supports management of invoices.
• Team management and capability building: Work as an effective team member and support transition of functions within the ICB to align with the NHS operating model.
