University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an SACT nurse to join the Cancer Centre team. You will safely deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted treatments and supportive care for cancer patients, working across two sites and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform venepuncture, cannulation and central line access where needed, assess patient conditions, and act promptly.

Qualificações

• Deliver SACT and supportive cancer treatments.
• Perform venepuncture, cannulation and central line access as required.
• Assess and interpret patient conditions and initiate actions where appropriate.

Within the role of SACT nurse within the Cancer centre, you will be working as a part of the wider team to safely deliver Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, targeted treatment and supportive treatments for Cancer patients.

• Safely deliver SACT & supportive cancer treatments
• Perform clinical actives such as venepuncture, cannulation & access central lines
• assess & interpret, acute and other patient conditions, initiate actions as appropriate
• Communicate, professionally , clear and concise with patients & their relatives
• Use electronic prescribing systems
• Take responsibility for concise documentation
