Job summary

Foods Connected is seeking a Software Sales Engineer to sell SaaS software to food industry clients. You will create bespoke demos, run discovery calls, and deliver compelling product demonstrations that highlight ROI and value.

You will collaborate with product, marketing, and implementation teams to tailor proposals, stay ahead of industry trends, and demonstrate deep product knowledge in a fast-growing environment. This role is based in Belfast with global reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2 years' relevant experience.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role interacting with and demonstrating a SaaS platform.
• Experience contributing to, leading, or presenting technical proposals as part of a sales lifecycle.
• Prior experience in software and/or food industry (preferred).
• AI awareness and experience with SaaS solutions and customer use cases.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Discovery and Solution Scoping – understand customer requirements and map to platform tools.
• Demo Creation and Delivery – build bespoke demos and show ROI to customers.
• Technical Proposals & Cross-Functional Collaboration – prepare RFIs/RFPs and work with product/marketing teams.
• Industry and Product Expertise – stay current on Foods Connected functionality and trends.
