Opus Resourcing Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Technical Implementation & Software Engineer to join an innovative early-stage technology startup developing cloud-based SaaS solutions in renewables.

The role blends customer-facing SaaS implementation with hands-on Java software development, roughly 60% focused on technical implementation and 40% on software engineering, with hybrid Cambridge work and UK remote considered.

Qualificações

• Experience implementing, configuring and supporting complex B2B SaaS software.
• Strong customer-facing technical experience, including requirements gathering.
• Hands-on Java development experience, with Spring Boot/Micronaut is a plus.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices and IoT.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving startup.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, configure and customise a complex SaaS platform to meet customer requirements.
• Work directly with customers and third-party partners to deliver technical implementations and integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, manage incidents and support production environments.
• Write, modify and test Java code, contributing to integrations, bug fixes and new functionality.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product teams on development, testing and continuous delivery.
• Build and support APIs, third‑party integrations and connected IoT devices.
• Contribute to platform reliability, technical improvements and product development based on customer feedback.
