Job summary

Chine House Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for maternity cover (9-12 months). Applications from 3rd year SVNs will also be considered. You will join a busy, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital with its own out-of-hours service and a strong focus on high-quality patient care.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week with early to late shifts, including OOH, night and weekend work, plus opportunities to work with exotic cases with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified RVN or 3rd year SVN with clinical training.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work well within a busy hospital environment.
• Interest in exotics is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to small animals and exotics.
• Work 37.5 hours per week with shifts 7:00am–8:00pm, including OOH, night and weekend shifts.
• Pursue CPD and certificate study to develop skills.
• Support a busy team to ensure high standards of patient care.
