Job summary

Portland Vets Crawley is seeking a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse Administrator to join our dedicated team. Based in Crawley, the practice provides modern facilities and patient-care excellence; you will blend nursing expertise with administrative duties.

You will support clinical and reception teams, handle stock and appointments, and ensure high-quality client communication. Weekend and bank holiday shifts may be required; RVN status must be maintained with the RCVS.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse and maintain RVN status with the RCVS.
• Experience in a clinical or practice administration role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock control and supplier orders for the practice.
• Coordinate procedures and appointments to keep the diary efficient.
• Respond to client enquiries using clinical knowledge.
• Ensure accurate record keeping in the practice management system.
• Provide administrative support to leadership and reception teams.
• Cover reception during breaks and holidays as required.
