What will you do?

You will play and test the games, focusing on identifying linguistic bugs and reporting them accurately using bug databases. Clear communication in English is essential for effective collaboration across global teams.

What would you do at work?

• Ensure games and applications provide the best user experience by being linguistic bug-free.
• Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Follow Universally Speaking's LQA process and standards, optimized over years to be industry-leading.
• Use bug databases to write detailed reports that highlight your attention to quality.
• Take ownership of bugs to ensure they are fixed and correctly implemented.
• Become an LQA Expert across various projects, with opportunities for specialization.
• Create, manage, and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in gathering testing requirements with developers to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Identify ways to improve processes, take ownership of additional activities, and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with the QA team effectively.

Requirements

• Experience with LQA software tools, including test case management and text editing tools.
• Knowledge of CAT tools like MemoQ.
• Understanding of the video game industry and trends.
• Higher degree in linguistics (desirable but not essential).
