NCIC's Podiatry Department in North Cumbria is recruiting a Band 5 Podiatrist to deliver high‑quality foot care across primary and secondary settings. You'll work within a supportive team, with a robust preceptorship and opportunities to develop skills in high‑risk, nail surgery and biomechanics.

Applicants should have HCPC registration, a podiatric degree or be in final year, and be committed to NHS values and patient education. Relocation support may be available.

Formación

• Degree or working toward qualification in Podiatric Medicine.
• Local anaesthesia certificate.
• HCPC registration (or working toward).
• Experience in NHS settings.
• Knowledge of podiatry guidelines and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• To assess patients and formulate individual care plans.
• Triage, screen, diagnose and treat podiatric conditions including high‑risk foot and nail surgery.
• Deliver evidence‑based treatments within scope of practice.
• Evaluate progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Follow care plans for foot ulcers using electronic records and wound care apps.
• Identify when referrals to other services are needed and initiate them.
