Bidwells, a leading national property consultancy, seeks a Land Agent or Rural Surveyor to join the Grid & Infrastructure team in Scotland. You will negotiate land rights for substations, cabling, and energy projects while guiding landowners through complex agreements.

We welcome varying levels of experience and value strong negotiation, client relations and commercial acumen. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualificações

• Experience in rural property, estate management or land agency preferred.
• Understanding of land acquisition, wayleaves, infrastructure consents advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills expected.

Responsabilidades

• Visiting clients and advising on access rights, compensation claims and practical issues from infrastructure on land.
• Negotiating land rights for electricity lines, cables and sale of land for substations (wayleaves, servitudes, leases, option agreements).
• Representing landowners in discussions with developers, utility companies and infrastructure providers.
• Liaising with clients, land agents, legal reps, planning authorities, contractors and stakeholders to prepare consent documents.
