Job summary
NHS Borders is seeking a GP Partner or Salaried GP to join a well-supported practice in Melrose and Newtown St Boswells. The role follows a planned partner retirement in April 2027, with a friendly MDT and strong links to Borders General Hospital.
We offer excellent work–life balance, competitive pay and generous leave, plus opportunities to develop specialist interests within the practice or locally. Training of ANPs and FY2 hosting are part of our ongoing plans.
Responsibilities
- 2–8 sessions (Partner / Salaried / Long-term Locum)
- 25 × 15-minute appointments (routine days)
- Low home visiting
- No out-of-hours (optional locally)
