Job summary

Brecon Medical Group Practice, a dispensing practice serving a rural population in the Brecon Beacons, seeks a salaried GP. Responsibilities include face-to-face and telephone triage, home visits, and optional hospital sessions. Training site with teamwork and potential to develop special interests.

Full GMC registration and All Wales Medical Performers List entry are required. Two-year minimum salaried GP experience and medicines management are desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with CCT and full GMC registration.
• MRCGP and VTC or JCPTGP equivalent.
• Eligibility to practise independently in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload across primary care health needs.
• Triage a telephone list and see patients face-to-face.
• Provide high standard care to registered and temporary patients.
• Review complex clinical decisions with partners and salaried GPs.
• Optionally join the daily home-visit day with Enhanced Community Care Teams.
• Optionally provide clinical care at the local community hospital.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team.
