Landmarc Support Services at Longmoor Training Camp, Hampshire, seeks a Tractor and Rural Estate Operative to operate tractors and agricultural machinery across military training areas and countryside. You will assist with vegetation management, forestry operations and estate maintenance to support vital land assets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Tractor Operator or similar land-based role.
• Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery with attachments.
• Experience in countryside/estate management or conservation.
• Experience with routine maintenance and inspections of plant and tractors.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Health & safety awareness.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractors, flails, mowers and related machinery safely and effectively.
• Carry out grass cutting and vegetation management.
• Support rural estate maintenance and woodland management projects.
• Build and maintain fencing and estate infrastructure.
• Carry out track repairs and path maintenance.
• Create and maintain firebreaks in rural and woodland areas.
• Habitat management and conservation works.
• Complete routine inspections and servicing of tractors and equipment.
• Follow health & safety policies and risk assessments.
• Work independently or in a team in outdoor environments.
