Job summary

Unilever in Port Sunlight is seeking a Run to Standard Leader (Maternity Cover) within the Supply Chain to drive line performance and continuous improvement. The role focuses on leading daily and weekly performance reviews, planning line activities and coaching teams across shifts to sustain high standards.

You will monitor OEE, implement 90 Day Improvement Plans and reductions in losses, ensuring safety and quality at all times.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English and Science; basic numeracy and literacy skills required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment managing a team is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and weekly performance meetings with line teams to drive improvements.
• Plan and lead Work Process Execution on tags-closure.
• Coordinate planned stoppages for Autonomous/Professional Maintenance with maintenance teams and operators.
• Define and monitor cleaning, inspection and lubrication standards (CIL).
• Own Volume Conformance % and Overall Equipment Efficiency % for the line and hold teams accountable.
• Develop and deliver 90 Day Improvement Plans with Kaizen initiatives.

Job Title: Run to Standard Leader (Maternity Cover) Business Function: Supply Chain Location: Port Sunlight Factories

• Safety and Quality performance for the line/cell


• To maintain rigour and pace through leading daily and weekly performance meetings with their team.


• To prioritise, plan and effectively lead Work Process Execution on tags-closure


• To lead and coordinate planned stoppage for Autonomous Maintenance/Professional Maintenance activities with Maintenance Engineering Teams and Operators


• To define and monitor CIL standards (cleaning, inspection and lubrication)


• To identify centre-line settings for optimal use of each equipment of the line, hence reducing loss for measurement and adjustments.


• To document these settings into One Point Lessons and Standard Operating Procedures


• To own Volume Conformance % and Overall Equipment Efficiency % performance for the line, and to hold the Line Teams accountable


• To develop and deliver 90 Day Improvement Plans, driving Kaizens.


• To monitor and ensure delivery of OEE improvement glidepath for the line, reporting progress week on week


• To deliver reduction in minor stoppages, increasing stability of performance and MTBS (mean time between stoppages)


• To map skills matrix of all Teams across shifts, identifying gaps and areas to focus


• To coach Teams across shifts (with support of Technical Trainer), and to guarantee that they receive the right resources, equipment and training to develop and improve.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
