Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Veterinary Consultant, Ruminants to support Northern England and the Midlands. You will provide scientific and technical advice to veterinary practices, help with diagnostics and disease control, and develop strong customer relationships across the cattle and sheep sector.

With a DVM and UK farm practice experience, you will train practices, identify opportunities, and work with Account Managers to grow business while ensuring high standards of compliance and knowledge

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and current RCVS registration.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in UK farm veterinary practice.
• Experience/knowledge in cattle and/or sheep health.
• Ability to translate complex scientific information into practical advice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management.
• Commercially minded with cross-functional collaboration.
• Postgraduate qualification or certificate in disease management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert veterinary and technical advice to customers across cattle and sheep production.
• Support veterinary practices through technical training, coaching and product education.
• Develop trusted relationships with veterinary customers and Key Opinion Leaders.
• Use data and veterinary expertise to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
• Provide diagnostic support and respond to technical queries.
• Support pharmacovigilance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to design tailored customer solutions.
• Share expertise across Zoetis to build veterinary capability.
