Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Veterinary Consultant, Ruminants to join the UK Veterinary Operations team. You will provide scientific and technical support to practices across Northern England and the Midlands, helping address animal health challenges and improve productivity.

Ideal candidates hold a DVM and RCVS registration with 5+ years in UK farm practice, strong communication, and the ability to translate science into practical guidance. Travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and RCVS registration are required.
• Minimum 5 years of UK farm veterinary practice experience.
• Experience in cattle and/or sheep health and production systems.
• Ability to translate complex science into practical advice.
• Strong written and spoken communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert veterinary and technical advice to cattle and sheep customers.
• Deliver technical training, coaching and product education to practices.
• Develop long-term relationships with veterinary customers and KOLs.
• Identify opportunities to improve animal health and productivity using data.
• Provide diagnostic support and respond to technical queries.
• Support pharmacovigilance and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to grow the business.
• Share expertise across Zoetis to build veterinary capability.
