Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a Rugby League Coach for a Further Education College in Greater Manchester. You will plan and deliver training, monitor student performance and contribute to academic and personal growth in a dynamic college rugby league program.

Responsibilities include coordinating match days, managing fixtures, keeping records, and ensuring safeguarding and safety policies are followed, with regular contact to the Curriculum Manager about progress.

Qualifications

Experience working within the professional rugby league game.
Coaching qualifications in rugby league.
Strong understanding of player development and performance pathways.
Knowledge of safeguarding requirements and best practice in education.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality rugby league training sessions (Mon Tue Thu or Fri afternoons), ~3 hours per session.
Monitor and support student performance, behaviour and development.
Contribute to curriculum objectives and student development standards.
Organise match day activities on Wednesday afternoons, team prep and fixture coordination.
Maintain records and complete administrative tasks.
Promote safeguarding, health and safety policies and a safe environment.
Communicate progress with Curriculum Manager on student progress.
