This role offers a supportive Further Education environment, with DBS checks and references, and requires a recognised teaching qualification plus subject-specific credentials.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Sports and Public Services in Further Education.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent.
• Subject qualification in Sport, Public Services, or related field.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting and motivating learners.
• Ability to engage students with varied learning needs and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Sports and Public Services
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
• Support students to achieve their academic and personal goals
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement
• Promote an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment
• Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum development where required
