Job summary

Sale Sharks Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic Rugby Events & Development Manager to lead planning, coordination and growth of our events across the North West. You will oversee matchday experiences, school tours, camps, and community initiatives, delivering outstanding participant experiences and effective event operations.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, budgeting, line management, and commitment to Levelling the Field.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering large-scale events.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Budgeting and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate matchday events, holidays and community programmes.
• Develop and grow the portfolio of rugby events and participant experiences.
• Manage bookings, payments and liaison with commercial teams.
• Lead delivery staffing and oversee delivery against safeguarding and health policies.
