Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the central Cloud Engineering team, focusing on backup and data protection across IaaS/PaaS and on-premises infrastructure. You will design, deliver, and optimize services while supporting the company’s cloud transformation for efficiency, resilience, and availability.

You will work with strategists, architects, and SMEs to craft technical solutions that accelerate our business.

Qualifications

• Experience with backup solutions, especially cloud-focused.
• Hands-on with Rubrik environments is advantageous.
• Understanding of AWS or Azure and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with scripting for automation and ops.

Responsibilities

• Become SME for the backup platform and guide the IT Operations partner.
• Collaborate with Product owners to manage demand and delivery backlog.
• Contribute to automation and deployment framework design.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering and operations.
• Ensure security and lifecycle patterns are followed in infra.
