Job summary

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a fixed-term Band 4 RTT Validation and PIFU Support Officer in Cardiology Services until 31 March 2027. The post holder will validate and manage RTT and DM01 patient pathways, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with national standards.

They will analyse and interpret pathway information, track pathways, identify delays and data quality issues, and take action to resolve concerns in collaboration with clinical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient pathway information, proactively track pathways, identify delays, risks and data quality issues, and escalate concerns to clinical and operational teams.
• Provide administrative support to Patient Initiated Follow-Up (PIFU) processes and ensure patients are recorded, monitored and able to access services.
• Prioritize workload and support delivery of access targets while working with clinical and operational teams to ensure timely progression through pathways.
