Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a renowned Bath school in filling a Religious Studies Teacher role starting as soon as possible. You will teach RS across KS3 to KS5 to a motivated, high-achieving, and respectful student body, within a supportive and safeguarding-focused environment.

The school emphasises inclusive community, professional development, and guest speakers with interfaith activities; you will contribute to a dynamic curriculum and promote global perspectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject.
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Religious Studies
• Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Studies across KS3 to KS5 to a motivated, high-achieving, and respectful student body.
• Contribute to guest speakers and interfaith activities.
• Support safeguarding and welfare of students.
