Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced RPG Software Developer to design, develop and support IBM i/RPG applications for clients across finance, manufacturing and retail. You’ll work within a growing team to deliver business-critical software and contribute to the full lifecycle from analysis through delivery.

The role is hybrid, Leeds-based with one day per week on client site and a competitive salary (£60,000–£65,000) plus bonus and benefits.

Competenze

• Commercial experience developing IBM i / RPG applications.
• Experience maintaining and modernising business-critical applications.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

• Develop, enhance, test and support applications for a wide range of customer projects.
• Analyse business requirements and design effective software solutions.
• Produce technical documentation for new developments and application enhancements.
• Gain a strong understanding of client business processes and application landscapes to provide effective long-term support.
• Manage software changes from requirements gathering through to implementation.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to customers where appropriate.
