Job summary

QinetiQ Limited is looking for a Remotely Piloted Air Systems (RPAS) Instructor to deliver technical training in the Defence sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAS operations and teaching experience, working closely with military clients.

This permanent full-time role is mainly based in Wiltshire, with potential travel across the UK and EU for course delivery. Candidates should reside in the UK and may need to pass National Security Vetting.

Qualifications

• Experience in training delivery in military environments is necessary.
• Dynamic and proactive individuals required for minimal supervision roles.
• Flexible working or shift work may be necessary.
• Military or uniformed service background is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver UAS technical training per Defence System Approach to Training.
• Support the growth of the team in various UAS programmes.
• Engage in UK-based projects and wider projects across UK Defence.

Skills

Experienced Fixed Wing and Multi-Rotor UAS operator

Experience in teaching or instructing others

Valid Driving Licence

Education

Accredited to Level 3 Award in Education or equivalent

Civilian UAS Qualifications – GVC/LPC L1 MR and FW
