Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an entry‑level Automation Support role to help develop, test, deploy and maintain RPA and low‑code solutions. You’ll work under supervision within a structured Automation and AI team to improve efficiency, quality and safety across Trust services.

Responsibilities include building simple automations with Power Automate and Power Apps, documenting changes, and participating in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of coding or exposure to RPA/low-code tools.
• Willingness to learn and operate under supervision in a structured automation team.
• Ability to follow defined standards, templates and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing simple RPA solutions using Power Automate/Power Apps under guidance.
• Support configuration, testing and documentation of automation solutions.
• Carry out basic checks, troubleshooting and monitoring of live processes.
• Log and track work items using Jira or similar tools.
• Adhere to development standards and version control practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprints as directed.
• Assist with gathering basic requirements from users and stakeholders.
• Escalate issues in a timely manner.
