Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for an enthusiastic individual to drive automation within their Digital Directorate. The role focuses on developing and configuring RPA workflows and low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps, with supervision and defined standards.

You will participate in testing, documentation and deployment, leveraging Jira for sprint activities and operating within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Computer Science, Digital Technologies or a related subject.
• Working knowledge of coding or scripting concepts.
• Experience or exposure to RPA or low code development, particularly Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Knowledge of SQL databases (e.g. SQL Server) is desirable.
• Awareness of AI enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure RPA workflows and low code apps from specifications.
• Undertake unit and system testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Diagnose faults, maintain documentation and support materials.
• Use Jira to manage tasks, defects and sprint activities in an Agile environment.
• Support deployment pipelines and monitor live automations for reliability.
