Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Post Person Driver for the Tonbridge area. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.69 and requires a Full UK manual driving licence. The position is temporary and ongoing, with shifts Mon-Sun and a 7am–9pm window. You’ll drive or walk routes, perform vehicle checks, and handle sortation before departure.

No prior experience is required, but you must pass the Royal Mail vetting process ( DBS check, funded by you ).

Qualifications

• No experience required; must have a Full UK manual driving licence.
• Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• DBS check required (paid by you) as part of Vetting Process.
• Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Willing to work flexible shifts between 7am and 9pm, Mon-Sun.

Hours:MON-SUN WORKING PATTERN

SHIFTS BETWEEN 7AM-9PM – MON-SUN

£13.69 per hour

Main Duties of Royal Mail Post Person:

Sortation of round prior to departure

Vehicle checks

Driving manual vehicle to delivery locations or working on foot

Delivering letters and small parcels to home and business addresses

About You:

You must hold a valid UK manual Driving License

No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)

Happy to drive a company issued vehicle or work on foot

Be physically fit

Happy to work outside in all weather conditions

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete the Royal Mail Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
