Job summary

First Call Contract Services Limited is recruiting Royal Mail Delivery Drivers for Crawley this Christmas. You will sort letters and parcels, perform safety checks on the vehicle, and deliver mail on foot and from a company van, working outdoors in all weather.

You must have a full UK manual driving licence with up to six penalty points and be flexible to rotating shifts, including weekends. Weekly pay at £13.69 per hour and a temporary contract through Christmas are offered.

Hours and shifts

You must be flexible to work rotating shifts between 7am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday, including weekends.

What you’ll do

• Sort letters and small parcels before starting your round
• Complete vehicle safety checks
• Drive a company manual vehicle and make deliveries on foot
• Deliver letters and small parcels to homes and businesses
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

What you’ll need

• A full, valid UK manual driving licence
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences, with no IN, DD or DR endorsements
• Physical fitness for walking and carrying mail throughout your round
• A reliable approach and flexibility to work rotating shifts
• Confidence driving a company manual vehicle
