Job summary

The University of Chester is seeking a Rowing Club Coach to support the development and success of its student rowing programme within the Sport and Active Lifestyle Department. The role offers £25 per hour with a maximum of £2,100 per year for the Exton Park venue.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 1 rowing coaching qualification and experience with young adults.
• Excellent communication, motivation and development of participants; inclusive coaching.
• Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport certificate required; First Aid desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured rowing coaching sessions for students.
• Support participants of all abilities and foster a positive club environment.
• Coordinate with Sport Development Team and student officers to shape programme.
