Job summary

Saipem in the UK is seeking a Mechanical ROV Tooling Technician to join the ROV Asset department in Aberdeen. You will maintain, repair, refurbish and prepare ROV tooling equipment for offshore projects, in line with Saipem's Quality and Safety policies.

The role focuses on hands-on workshop work in Aberdeen, with duties including equipment strip-downs, re-assembly, documentation, packing and quality checks. Applicants must reside in the UK and have UK right-to-work.

Qualifications

• Industry training in engineering with a mechanical or hydraulic background.
• Time-served mechanical/hydraulic experience in a workshop environment.
• Experience in reading/interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with ROV tooling and subsea equipment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and maintaining maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ROV subsea tooling repair and preparation in Aberdeen workshop.
• Gain experience on all ROV tooling equipment used for offshore operations.
• Perform strip-down, maintenance, refurbishment and re-assembly of ROV tooling equipment.
• Provide technical support to building new ROV tooling equipment.
• Prepare paperwork related to ROV tooling maintenance and build activities.
• Pack, check spares and perform quality control on tooling equipment prior to shipment.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working order.
• Adhere to Saipem's Quality and Safety Policy and Procedures.
• Assist Lead ROV Tooling Technician during tooling support activities.
